CJL Fabrications was contracted to fabricate and install this custom steel BBQ shelter for a new residential complex in Canberra. The project involved creating a unique curved roof design that blends seamlessly with the surrounding architecture while providing durable, all-weather coverage for the communal outdoor area.
Our team handled every stage of the process — from workshop fabrication through to onsite installation — ensuring precision and strength in every connection. The curved steel beams and columns were rolled, welded, and assembled to meet strict design tolerances, then coated for long-term protection against Canberra’s varying weather conditions.
Working within a confined courtyard space, our crew coordinated closely with other site contractors to complete the structure safely and efficiently, without disruption to ongoing building works.
