CJL Fabrications was proud to deliver the full structural steel fabrication and installation for a new childcare centre located in Bardia, NSW. This project showcased our team’s capability to manage large-scale commercial steelwork from concept to completion, working closely with the builder to ensure precision, safety, and efficiency throughout each stage.

Our scope of works included the fabrication and installation of all structural steel framing, portal frames, columns, beams, rafters, and purlins. Every piece was carefully laser-cut and welded in our workshop, then transported to site for final assembly. The unique architectural design required angled rooflines and non-standard framing geometry, demanding careful planning and measurement to achieve perfect alignment and load-bearing accuracy.

During installation, our onsite team coordinated with multiple trades to ensure the steel integrated seamlessly with the brickwork, roofing, and concrete elements. The tight access and active construction environment called for efficient sequencing and precise crane operations, all managed safely and on schedule.

The completed structure now forms the backbone of a modern, purpose-built childcare centre that will serve the local Bardia community for years to come.
